Connect TiviMate to your IPTVnu subscription
TiviMate takes four steps. You install the app on Android TV, Google TV or a Fire TV Stick, open Playlists, choose Xtream Codes and type in the login we sent you. Further down you can read what the free version does and what Premium adds.
Have this ready
TiviMate is made for Android TV, Google TV and Fire TV Stick. On a phone or tablet, we suggest IPTV Smarters Pro instead.
- An Android TV or Google TV device (a Chromecast with Google TV, for example) or an Amazon Fire TV Stick
- On a Fire TV Stick: the Downloader app, to install TiviMate
- Our WhatsApp message with your server URL, username and password
Install and connect in four steps
Follow them in order.
Install TiviMate
On Android TV or Google TV, get it from the Play Store by searching for 'TiviMate IPTV Player'. The Amazon Appstore doesn't carry TiviMate, so on a Fire TV Stick you install it with the Downloader app, as our Fire TV Stick guide explains.
Go to Playlists
Open TiviMate, go to Settings, then Playlists, then Add Playlist.
Pick 'Xtream Codes' as the playlist type
When TiviMate asks for the type, choose Xtream Codes and not M3U Playlist. Enter the server URL, username and password from our WhatsApp message and confirm.
Let the channels and guide load
TiviMate now downloads the channel list and, because you used Xtream Codes, the TV guide as well. With a big line-up the first load can take up to a minute.
Xtream Codes beats M3U here
TiviMate accepts both, but one gives you more.
Add your playlist as Xtream Codes, not as an M3U Playlist. You fill in three fields, server URL, username and password, and TiviMate fetches the TV guide on its own.
An M3U Playlist is one long link with your login inside. It plays, but the guide is often missing or has to be added by hand. Only use it if you have a particular reason to avoid Xtream Codes.
Do you need TiviMate Premium?
The app is free. Premium is an optional extra you buy from TiviMate.
The free version gives you one playlist and the standard TV guide. That covers watching with IPTVnu. Now and then it shows an advert screen.
Premium is for people who want to run several playlists at once, record to a USB stick or network drive, or watch more than one channel side by side. For everyday live TV with IPTVnu you can do without it. You buy Premium from TiviMate directly; we don't sell it and have no say over it.
TiviMate problems and fixes
What people run into most while setting TiviMate up.
The playlist won't load or gives an error
Refresh it under Settings > Playlists > your playlist > Refresh. Then compare your details with our message; the server URL starts with http, not https. If everything matches and the error returns, check the date and time on the device, because a wrong clock makes connections fail more often.
Channels play, the TV guide stays empty
With an Xtream Codes playlist, the guide should load by itself. If it doesn't, our page on an IPTV EPG that won't load takes you through the causes.
TiviMate keeps offering Premium
The free version handles one playlist and the standard guide, which is all you need for IPTVnu. Premium is sold by TiviMate, not by us, and adds features like several playlists at once, recording and watching channels side by side. Normal live viewing works fine without it.
My Fire TV Stick's app store doesn't have TiviMate
That is expected; TiviMate isn't offered in the Amazon Appstore. Install it by hand with the Downloader app, following our Fire TV Stick guide.
