IPTV Smarters Pro with your IPTVnu login

Everything in IPTV Smarters Pro depends on one choice at the login screen: take the Xtream Codes API, not the M3U link. Then the app fetches films, series and the EPG along with the live channels. Below you will see which field expects which part of your login.

Have this ready

Keep our WhatsApp message open; you will copy all three fields from it.

  • IPTV Smarters Pro, which exists for Android, iOS, Windows and several TV platforms
  • Our WhatsApp message with your server URL, username and password
  • Internet on the device you will watch on

From install to TV guide in five steps

By the end you have your channels, the EPG and a short favourites list.

  1. Install IPTV Smarters Pro

Find IPTV Smarters Pro in the app store of your device and install it. For Windows, get the desktop version from the developer's own website. When you open it for the first time, accept the terms of use.

  2. Pick 'Login with Xtream Codes API'

The login screen gives you two choices: the Xtream Codes API or an M3U URL. Go for the Xtream Codes API, because that is the route that also brings in films, series and the EPG next to live TV.

  3. Fill in your IPTVnu login

Name the playlist something you will recognise, IPTVnu for example. Then enter the username, password and server URL from our WhatsApp message. Copy the server URL exactly as it is, port number included if there is one.

  4. Wait while the channel list loads

Confirm the login and the app downloads the full list. The first run usually takes thirty to sixty seconds. Keep the app open until it is done, or some categories will stay empty.

  5. Load the EPG and pick your favourites

Open the EPG or TV guide section and let it load completely once. Then mark the channels you watch most as favourites, so you don't have to scroll through the whole list every time.

Why Xtream Codes and not M3U

Both log you in. What you see afterwards is quite different.

Xtream Codes uses three fields: server URL, username and password. The app then talks to the server in a set way, so it can keep live TV, films and series apart and fetch the EPG. When we add channels, a refresh is enough to see them.

An M3U link is a single long URL with your username and password inside it. The app gets a flat channel list from it, with no guide and no separate film or series sections. Use it only when nothing else works.

No strong preference for Smarters? We set customers up with IBO Player by default, and our help is geared to that app. It is the quickest way to a picture.

Three settings worth changing

Do these once and you notice the difference every evening.

Build a favourites list. Scrolling through the whole channel list is no fun. Mark the channels you really watch, and the app opens on a list that fits on one screen.

Set the time zone. If it doesn't match where you live, the EPG is off and recordings or reminders start at the wrong time.

Try the other decoder. The app has more than one player setting. If the picture stutters on an older device, switch to the other decoder option. It moves the decoding work between the processor and the graphics chip, which can help on weaker hardware.

IPTV Smarters Pro problems and fixes

Check these before you message us.

'Invalid credentials' or 'login failed'

Look for a space before or after the username; copy and paste adds one easily. Then check the server URL: it starts with http:// exactly as in our message and has no slash at the end. Still failing? WhatsApp us a screenshot.

Logged in, but the categories are empty

The list did not finish loading. Close the app all the way, open it again and use the refresh option in the menu. On a slow connection, loading can take longer than the app suggests.

The EPG is blank or the times are off

Check the app's time zone setting; if it isn't your local time, the whole guide shifts. A completely blank guide needs a manual refresh and a few minutes, because it downloads separately from the channels.

The app asks for a payment or activation

IPTV Smarters Pro is a player and has nothing to do with your subscription. Some versions charge a one-off fee for the app. That fee is not from IPTVnu and gives you no extra channels. If you'd rather avoid it, use IBO Player.

One channel won't play; the rest are fine

If the app offers another stream for that channel, try it. If the channel stays dark, send us its exact name. A single dead channel is usually something we fix on our side, not something in your app.
