IPTVnu help centre

Choose the screen you watch on and you get a guide written for that device only. If a step doesn't match what you see, send us a message and we'll take it from there.

Find the guide for your device

Every guide starts with a short checklist, then the steps in order, then the problems people run into on that device. No idea which one to open? Go for IBO Player. It is the app we set customers up with by default, and it installs on nearly every TV, stick and phone.

Install, activate and fill IBO Player

The app IPTVnu is built around. Put it on your device, activate it with the MAC address and Device Key on iboplayer.com, then add your login details.

Open guide

IBO Player not working? Find the cause

Repeated activation prompts, an empty channel list, a rejected server URL or a licence request from the app: what each message means and what to do.

Open guide

EPG not loading: the TV guide stays empty

Channels play, but the guide shows nothing, lags behind or shows the wrong times. How to fix that in IBO Player, TiviMate and IPTV Smarters Pro.

Open guide

Where to find your MAC address and Device Key

Reference per device: IBO Player, Samsung, LG, Fire TV Stick, Android box, MAG and Formuler. Plus the difference between the two codes.

Open guide

Set up IPTV Smarters Pro with Xtream Codes

Sign in via 'Login with Xtream Codes API', let the channel list load and fill the programme guide. Works on phone, tablet, PC and TV.

Open guide

Set up TiviMate and add your playlist

On Android TV and Google TV via the Play Store, on Fire TV Stick via Downloader. Then add an Xtream Codes playlist with your IPTVnu details.

Open guide

IPTV on a Samsung Smart TV (Tizen)

Get the player from your Samsung's app store and link the TV via iboplayer.com. With a way out if the app is missing from your store.

Open guide

IPTV on an LG Smart TV (webOS)

Install from the LG Content Store, link with the MAC address, and how the quick start feature keeps old app data around.

Open guide

IPTV on your Fire TV Stick with Downloader

Get Downloader from the Amazon Appstore, allow unknown sources for that app and enter download code 1171959. Then link the stick via iboplayer.com.

Open guide

IPTV on Android TV, Google TV or a standalone box

Check the Play Store first, otherwise install the player with Downloader. The same steps work on an Android phone or tablet.

Open guide

IPTV on Apple TV via the tvOS App Store

An app with Xtream Codes support, linked with the MAC address and Device Key on iboplayer.com, then load your channel list.

Open guide

IPTV on Chromecast with Google TV

For the model with its own remote and home screen: app from the Play Store, link it and load. With a note on the older Chromecast without a remote.

Open guide

IPTV on a Formuler or MAG box

A Formuler signs in with Xtream Codes in MyTVOnline. A MAG box uses a portal URL that belongs to your box's MAC address.

Open guide

Set up IPTV on iPhone and iPad

A player from the App Store, sign in with Xtream Codes and send the picture to your TV with AirPlay. Plus the iOS settings that stop a stream.

Open guide

Watch IPTV on your PC or Mac

Choose a desktop player with Xtream Codes (with guide, movies and series) or VLC with your M3U link (live channels only).

Open guide

IPTV buffering or stuttering: track down the cause

Six checks in a fixed order: pattern, speed, restart, cable and a second device. Still stuck after that? Send us what you found on WhatsApp.

Open guide

IPTV stutters during sport: what to do before kickoff

Why a live match is more sensitive than a film, and which checks work fastest once the game has already started.

One pattern behind every guide

Once you have done it on one device, the next one feels familiar. You put a player app on the device. The app shows you two codes, a MAC address and a Device Key. You use those codes to connect the device to your player account, add the login details from our WhatsApp message as a playlist, and reopen the app to load your channels.

The part that changes is getting the app onto the device. A Smart TV has its own app store, a Fire TV Stick needs the Downloader app, an iPhone uses the App Store. That first step is where most people get stuck, so each device has a guide of its own.

Read the IBO Player guide first

Still stuck? Ask us directly

Tell us two things in your first message: the device you use and what is on the screen right now. A photo of the screen works even better. That usually lets us answer without a back-and-forth.
